Our History
Fort Valley Nursery
was founded in 1979 producing shade and ornamental trees at our farm in Fort
Valley, Virginia. In 1984, the owners of the business, Warren Schennum,
Terry Fogle, and Randy Fogle, while continuing to grow the nursery
operation, opened a retail garden center and landscape division in
Woodstock, Virginia.
Due to size limitations and our desire to better serve the needs of our local horticulture community, in 2006 Fort Valley Nursery decided to expand the business. The business moved from it old location to 1175 S. Hisey Avenue, Woodstock (between Dominion Virginia Power and Woodstock Rehab and Fitness) in November 2007.
